Biography

For twenty years, Graham Sparkman has actively been involved with multiple aspects of the music industry. Although he primarily works within the scope of audio engineering and music production, Graham has years of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, arranger and composer.

Graham was born and raised in the small Appalachian town of Hazard, Kentucky. He is honored to be a fifth generation mountain musician. Graham enjoys collaborating with music professionals on an international level. He has worked on albums spanning a wide range of genres. Some examples of these styles include Traditional Appalachian, Bluegrass, Choral Arrangements, Eastern European Folk, Ambient-Soundscape, Film Scoring and Jazz.

Graham now lives in the scenic Northwoods of Minnesota. He enjoys accessing the outdoors through cross country skiing, trail running, cycling, camping, open water swimming and kayaking.

Graham and Clarissa have been married since 2001. The Sparkman family has grown over the years. Graham and Clarissa now have four children. Their names are Medora, Kazmir, Ambrose and Iona. Graham and Clarissa enjoy watching their children’s personalities develop as they grow. Graham is hoping to pass on his musical heritage to his children.
